Have you ever watched a baby learning to walk? They’re unsteady and fall time and again, yet they’re not afraid to try once more. We’d never consider them failures. Yet, how often do we give ourselves that label when we fall?

Are you guilty of negatively labeling yourself over imperfections? The words need not even be spoken aloud to have a profound effect on your psyche. But a failure is simply an event, an occurrence. We should learn from them. We should grow from them. But we shouldn’t identify as them. If your failure involved sin, repent and bring it to the cross. Then leave it there. Let today be the day you accept that your failures don’t define who you are.
God made you on purpose, with love and intention, and called you into His kingdom of light. He doesn’t craft failures. He creates masterpieces. If you disparage your worth, you disrespect God’s work.
See yourself today as God sees you.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
