Hard times:
Are you going through a difficult time? Does it feel like it’s just one thing after another? If so, you’re not alone.
The Bible tells us that Joseph was nearly killed by his brothers, then sold into human trafficking. Finally, when things seemed to improve, he was imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. For thirteen years, he suffered immensely at the hands of others.
God never promised we wouldn’t experience failure, trials, or even pain. In fact, the opposite is true. Jesus assures us that in this life we will have trouble.
Sometimes it comes as a result of our actions, while at other times it comes through no fault of our own. But regardless of the source, God doesn’t abandon us in or to our suffering. He will bring good out of every situation for those of us whose hearts belong to Him. Choose today to stand on that promise.
