It’s the beginning of a new year, a new day, and a new chapter in life. It sits before 
you like an unopened gift, and you have no idea what it holds inside. Will it be everything you’ve hope for, or something else altogether? That part isn’t up to you, but how you use it is.
Whatever it holds, know that your loving Father has either specifically ordained it or, for a purpose, has chosen to allow it.
My prayer for you this year is that God will pour out blessings upon you, fulfilling dreams and providing abundance. But should the gift fall short of your desires, may you always trust the good that He will bring from it.
